A Walk to Remember

This film directed by Adam Shankman. The story was adapted from the novel by Nicholas Sparks. It played by Shane West as Landon Carter and Mandy Moore as Jamie Sullivan.

This story begins with the famous group in the school that consists of Landon and his friends. They always do things strange and immoral, such as drunkenness. On the other hand, there is a girl, which has different properties. She is someone quiet, affectionate and religious because her father was a pastor.

One night, Landon and his friends drunkenness and there was an accident due to their act. All this is wrong because it was Landon who plan and initiate activities drunkenness. So that's headmaster gave to severe punishment that is teaching the class and participated in a drama at school. Punishment made him meet Jamie. They both entered at stage school drama and the longer Landon so fall in love with Jamie because there are unique characteristics found in Jamie. He changed his life to be better than before. Then, he must accept the in fact that his girlfriend suffers leukemia. He tried to give everything to make his girlfriend happy. He married with her girlfriend. After that, his girlfriend died and he lives alone without married with another woman.

            This movie is very romantic and touching. We can take some moral values from this story. The one of them is the loyalty man to his lover. He knows his lover suffer leukemia. However, he survives until his lover died. He lives alone and do not try to find the new one to substitute his lover. Therefore, it is make me interested about it. I give 8/10 for this movie.
